Cornerstone Project

And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

- Colossians 1:18

The Cornerstone Project will raise funds for a new location for Hope Church.

Mission and Vision

The mission that God has given His church will always stay the same!
We see in Matthew chapter 24 a call to love God with all your heart and to love people as you love yourself. Then in Matthew chapter 28 Jesus gives instructions before ascending back to heaven to Go and Make Disciples. So, the mission doesn’t change for the church. How this mission is accomplished from year to year becomes our Vision.

For 2023, we believe that our mission will be best utilized by having a place to call home. A location where we can allow God to work through our body and in our community. We believe this is why God is continuing to open the door for Hope Church to move towards this building in Gray. We believe that Gray is central to what God desires for Hope Church.

Love God

We obediently love the God that created and saved us. We do this through a personal relationship with Him as well as a corporate relationship with Him and His Body. We gather together corporately to show our love and adoration to Him.

Love People

God has not called us to just love Him, but to love others as well. We do this through caring for one another in the body and caring for those around us in our community. God never intended for us to do life alone. His intent is for us to live life in relationship with others

Make Disciples

God’s desire and design is for us to expand His Kingdom here on earth. We do this through sharing His Son with those we interact with daily.
(Matthew 22:34-40) 34 But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. 35 And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

(Matthew 28:18-20) 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
