Kids Ministry

Babies - 4th Grade

Here at Hope Church, our goal is to build personal relationships with kids from nursery to 4th grade, so we have the ability to share the Gospel and make future disciples of Jesus Christ. Our Hope kids ministry is more than just childcare. We hope to inspire and help children discover Christ in them. Our motto is “Love. Grow. Serve. Go.” We want kids to know the love of Jesus. We want them to grow in their walks, to serve one another, then go out into the world sharing His love and message to everyone.

Parents - We invite and encourage parents to serve with their child’s class on a rotating basis. There are many ways to get involved, and it’s a great opportunity to get to know other families with young children at Hope!
Nothing is more important to us than giving our Next Generation the opportunity to develop in their faith so that they can have a solid Biblical foundation to stand on. “Grow” curriculum is one of the learning tools we use to help them succeed from early childhood into their adult life. We encourage our children to see the Bible as a whole, and we strategically take them through the entire Bible several times with engaging lessons, crafts and activities as they age through our ministry. When it comes to our Next Generation, we want to journey alongside each parent/guardian to help equip them in shepherding their families.

Sunday Morning

9:00am and 11:00am

During each Sunday morning service, we provide loving care for infants and toddlers up to 24 months in a secure, nurturing environment. Preschool, ages 2-4 will enjoy Bible lessons, learn memory verses, share a snack and participate in hands-on activities. Check-in starts 10 minutes before service, then parents may drop off their littles before worship begins.

Kindergarteners (age 5) to 4th grade will worship with their families in the main service. Once worship has ended, kids are dismissed and escorted to their classes for age appropriate Bible lessons and activities. K-1st grade are currently meeting in the Library, and 2nd-4th grade are in the Pit/Amphitheater. After service, all kids K-4th grade will be picked up in the Library.

Keeping our Next Generation safe is very important to us. Every volunteer receives a background check and is carefully considered for their roles in our ministry. We require each child to be checked-in and given a name tag with a code that is unique to your family. After each service, parents use their tags to ensure safe pick up of their children.

Wednesday Night

6:45pm

Our Mid-Week services are all about family and fellowship! On Wednesday nights, care is available for infants to age 4 following the 6:00pm fellowship meal. Preschool will enjoy Bible stories and play time. K-4th grade kids will worship in the main service with their families until dismissed, and then they will be escorted to their classes for small group time including fun games and a Bible lesson review. Parents will go to the Library to pick up their kids after service has ended. Mid-Week is a great way for kids and families to come together, refresh and reconnect with one another during the week.
